Considering the operational importance and cost of investment of aircraft parts, it is only important that there are established procedures in ensuring that the spares procured for maintaining the airworthiness condition of the aircraft undergo a process of stringent inspection.

At the end of this training course, the participant will successfully be able to:

• Understand the importance of inspection procedures
• Demonstrate the application of inspection methods and criteria
• Differentiate accepted and suspected unapproved parts
• Process aircraft parts for safe transportation
• Identify legitimate and bogus documents
