The Landing Gear System is responsible for the maneuvering of the aircraft while it is on the ground. The landing, take-off, taxiing, and parking of the aircraft are made possible by the use of struts, brakes, and other components which reflects the control input of the flight crew.

 

This course is designed to prepare the students to b The student will be able to identify and explain the different designs and components used in the operation of the Landing Gear System. Most importantly, the students will be able to apply deductive reasoning by understanding the principle of operation of the whole design and its components.

 

At the end of this training course, the participant will successfully be able to:

 

  • Be knowledgeable on the different Landing Gear designs used in an aircraft.
  • Identify and explain the different designs and components used in the operation of the Landing Gear System.
