Course Description and Objectives:

The Pneumatic System is responsible for providing compressed air towards the different “End Users” such as Icing Protection, Engine Starting, Air Conditioning, and others. Compressed air or most commonly referred to as “Bleed Air” is provided by the engine’s compressor which passes through ducts going to its designated end user.

At the end of this training course, the participant will successfully be able to:

• Be knowledgeable on the design and operation of the Pneumatics System of the aircraft.
• Identify and explain the different designs and components used in the operation of the Pneumatics System.
• Apply deductive reasoning by understanding the principle of operation of the whole design and its components.
