Course Description and Objectives:

Electrical Wiring Interconnection System provides trainees with an overview of the development of enhanced aircraft EWIS maintenance. This will also help the trainees to learn about the technical aspects of typical EWIS installations and supporting inspection techniques.

At the end of this training course, the participant will successfully be able to:

• Describe the safety procedures before starting work to isolate electrical systems.
• State the sources of data useful in managing “No Fault Found”
• Describe the fire and personnel safety measures to follow when carrying out cleaning of work.
• Identify the proper use of wires and the appropriate practice for use of segregations, slacks, clearance and protections for wiring.
• Describe the types of contaminants.
• Describe the proper inspection and damages associated connectors.
